About Dr. Andrew K. Hall

Andrew Kendrick Hall was born in Modesto, CA in the fall of 1952. Dr. Hall is a 5th generation Californian. His parents are Maureen and Wesley Hall. Dr. Hall was blessed to have three sons, Jason, Shawn and Travis.

His eldest son Jason passed away in 1995. Shawn, a talented technical consultant, resides in Twain Harte with his wife, Annette, and son, Zachary. Travis, a chef, lives in North Highlands, CA. Dr. Hall has two brothers, Gary Hall, D.C. of Modesto, CA and Scott Hall, of Lower Umpqua Hospital, Reedsport, OR.

Dr. Andrew K. Hall was raised in Modesto and graduated from Thomas Downey High School in 1971. He attended Modesto Junior College and matriculated to Palmer School of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. He graduated from Palmer College in 1975.

Upon graduation Dr. Hall returned to California to open his private Chiropractic practice in Galt, CA in 1976. Dr. Hall uses the full spine techniques with emphasis on the use of the Activator, Diversified, Gonstead, and Thompson Methods.

Dr. Hall sold his practice in Galt in 1996 and established his new office in East Sonora in 1998. Dr. Hall says he has found his true home in the Twain Harte area, as he is an avid hunter, fisherman, biker and skier. When the weather is warm, it's not uncommon to catch him riding his Harley through the winding mountain roads, enjoying the scenic terrain. Dr. Hall is also a talented wood carver with an emphasis on carving Indian Chief heads and all birds native to California, many of his carvings can be found on display in his office.

About Laura LaNier, our Laser Technician

Laura was born March 29, 1962. She has lived her entire life in California. The last 28 years she has been a resident of Sonora, where she has had the privilege of raising four children on an ever-changing "mini-farm."

Always an active individual, Laura has many interests, which have led to many experiences in a variety of vocations and hobbies. For 13 years, while the children where young, she was the administrator/principal of a small private school. During these years she worked with a friend to produce and sell award-winning children's educational videos, nationwide. Laura was a frequent guest speaker at many educational conventions, speaking on the importance of physical education in a child's development, both physically and academically.

In 1992, Ms. LaNier went to work for a physical therapist and gained valuable knowledge in many more aspects of the body and how it's meant to function. This is where she was first introduced to the concept of light therapy. She used a low level laser for several years. During this period of employment, Laura also attended school to become a certified massage therapist. Laura has found that helping patients on their road to recovery is a very rewarding experience.

Laura brings this point home by saying, "The day I found out Dr. Hall needed help with his Therapeutic Laser Center, I knew this was where all of my previous roads had been leading. Having the opportunity to work with the Class IV laser is so exciting. The patients' smiling faces is so worthwhile. Working in his office, with such new technology is an awesome experience. It doesn't seem like work at all - it's just where I'm meant to be."

About Lynda, our Office Manager

Lynda was born on a farm in upstate New York, the eldest of four children. She grew up knowing her future husband from the age of four. Oprah would love to hear the story that would develop over the years and it would make a great book.

Long story short, Les and Lynda will soon celebrate 20 years of wedded bliss. Lynda's oldest son and daughter-in-law have three beautiful active children who live in New York. Her second son is now married to a caring health professional. Her daughter and second son are working college students with full schedules. Lynda's husband has been in Criminal Justice over 22 years.

Before moving to California in '85 she enjoyed a career in banking as a Notary, collections agent, and trained for management. Lynda became a chiropractic assistant in Oakdale. After a move to the foothills she was blessed to find Dr. Hall and assist in watching his patient base grow and grow. With first aid certification and many billing seminars her first priority is to oversee the welfare and service to Doc's wonderful "family" of patients.

It was once suggested that Lynda should have a computer and phone in a back room for uninterrupted insurance billing and collections, but Dr. Hall declined saying, "Half my patients come here because she's up front. I'd never do that!" Les thinks it's her smile. After all, it's worked on him since he was 14.

About Sarah, our Receptionist

Sarah was born in the Spring of 1983. She has lived most of her life in Sonora. Growing up in the country, Sarah could usually be found outside mothering one of the newest arrivals. From pygmy goats to freshly hatched chicks, Sarah took care of them all.

Being in the Northern California 'paradise' provides many avenues for adventure and Sarah has enjoyed many. Hiking, boating, rafting, kayaking, skiing (water and snow), she's an outdoors kind-a girl! These days, you can find her driving through town in her bright red jeep.

Her first employment was with a clothing boutique. She was a part-time model for their unique line and got the opportunity to be the 'junior buyer' at an international clothing convention in New York.

After graduating from High School, she lived in Connecticut to attend college. She then had the opportunity to travel abroad for over 2 months. She has mentioned this to be one the biggest highlights of her life.

She is the oldest of four and has always been the 'responsible' one. We are so glad to have her in the office. She keeps things running like clockwork and always greets you with a smile!
