Shaking Up The Salt Debate!
by James Colquhoun
April 5, 2016
A mineral that has received a lot of bad press, salt is actually fundamental to our health. Ironic, isn't it? So why are we led to believe salt is bad? I am blowing the lid on the salt debate.
So here it is: SALT IS GOOD FOR YOU Salt? I hear you say. Are you sure? And this is where the camp of traditional believers might jump in, yelling 'NO. IT'S NOT!'. And they would be right if I was talking about the chemically produced table salt that is added to most processed foods, meats and snacks (that IS bad for you). But I'm not. I'm talking about REAL salt - 100 percent natural salt that is extracted from a legitimate natural source and is not bleached or processed.
Sex May Lead To Migraine Relief For Some
Personal Liberty Alerts
March 6, 2013
Some case reports suggest sexual activity during a migraine or cluster headache may relieve the pain in at least some patients, researchers in Germany say.
"We asked for experience with sexual activity during a headache attack and its impact on headache intensity," the researchers wrote in the study. "The survey was strictly and completely anonymous." Thirty-eight percent of the migraine patients and 48 percent of the patients with cluster headache responded.
Sevierville's Hood finished Boston Marathon hour before blasts
by Stan Voit
April 17, 2013
Dr. John Hood had finished his eighth Boston Marathon and retrieved his complimentary bag in which his clothes and cellular telephone were stashed before the race began. He was about two blocks away when he heard the first bomb go off.
The chaos has begun, and it was so wild that Hood and most of the other racers and spectators didn't know nearly as much as the TV watchers did. They heard rumors that it was a gas leak or a pipe bomb. That didn't lessen the feelings of anxiety among those, like Hood, who lacked information.

Scientists Have Figured Out How to Regenerate Teeth With Lasers.
by Kevin Loria
May 31, 2014
Using lasers to regenerate and grow body parts sounds like science fiction, but researchers have just demonstrated that it might be a tranformative tool in medicine-or at least dentistry-in the future.
A Harvard-led team just successfully used low-powered lasers to activate stem cells and stimulate the growth of teeth in rats and human dental tissue in a lab. The results were published today in the journal Science Translational Medicine. Stem cells exist throughout the body, and they fascinate scientists because they have the ability to become different types of cells - which means they have the potential to repair or replace damaged or worn out tissue. Figuring out new ways to make them useful has long been a goal of medical researchers.
Save the Gallbladder - PURGE!
by Doug Heise, D.C.
July 22, 2017
Color is incomprehensible to the blind. Harmony is beyond the senses of the tone deaf. To the King, the voices of peasants are lost and unheard! So it is with the tragedy of the citizen of this advanced technological society.
Gallbladder dysfunction is one of the most common health problems encountered in chiropractic as well as medical offices today. Unfortunately, it is also one of the most misunderstood. More than 600,000 cholecystectomies are performed in this country alone every year, despite overwhelming evidence that most are unnecessary. Repeated warnings have been printed in medical journals against this practice, but to avail.

The Salt Lake Tribune
by J. Ann Helms
April 26, 2007
"The South Salt Lake clinic offers K-Laser therapy; [it] uses heat to help with arthritis," Ingraham says.
McDonald says the laser therapy also helps heal wounds. She explains the infrared wavelengths from the laser create a warm sensation in an animal's body at the precise area requiring attention. The noninvasive treatment is used as an alternative to drugs.

Rx drug program in Calif needs lifeline to survive
by Greg Risling
November 26, 2011
Traditional police work wouldn't have nabbed Dr. Lisa Barden for visiting 43 pharmacies to illegally obtain tens of thousands of pain pills to fuel her own addiction.
Nor would it have busted Dr. Nazar Al Bussam as the top distributor of controlled substances in California over a three-year period in a prescriptions-for-cash scheme. In both cases, a computer database did the essential sleuth work. The program known as the Controlled Substance Utilization Review and Evaluation System has exposed so-called pill mills that also has led to dozens of convictions in prescription drug abuse cases.
