A former official with the Philippine government's population control organization has released an official medical report affirming that Filipina women were injected with sterilizing agents without their knowledge or consent.

Advertised as a national vaccination effort, the program involved the lacing of anti-tetanus toxoids with a sterilizing chemical known as HCG. Thousands of Filipino women between the ages of 15 and 45 were inoculated by the tainted vaccines. Only through the efforts of Catholic church organizations was the tainted vaccine brought to public attention" Kenyan women were injected with a tetanus vaccine corded with Beta-HCG to cause infertility and miscarriages. The Bishops of Kenya issued a courageous statement exposing this secret sterilization program disguised as a tetanus vaccine.

The Food and Drug Administration is kicking off a review of the 1990s official definition of "healthy" at the urging of food companies and lawmakers.

How is it possible a sugary cereal could be considered healthy but not almonds, avocados and salmon? Because the science of healthy eating has changed since the Food and Drug Administration wrote the current guidelines in the 1990s. Believe it or not, none of those foods would be considered "healthy" under the FDA's current guidelines.

The FDA issued warning letters this week to the two largest distributors of essentials oils in the United Sates, Young Living and dōTERRA. The FDA is claiming that their products are being marketed as unapproved drugs.

According to the FDA, these promotions - especially ones related to Ebola - are inaccurate but not unexpected. "Oftentimes with public health incidences, like Ebola or even during H1n1, we see products that are marketed, often online, that claim to treat or cure the disease...without FDA approval," FDA spokeswoman Stephanie Yao said in an interview, adding that "these sorts of things pop up" in almost any public health crisis.

Make sure the doctor you choose is the right doctor for treating and beating cancer in your life.

When you are diagnosed with cancer, one of the first things you should do is find the right doctor ... someone you can trust and is knowledgeable about how to heal the human body. But more than that, you should find a doctor who treats his patients as human beings, rather than revenue generators.

My problem is that after all these years of going to a good chiropractor, I became very sensitive about when I have a subluxation. It was like this external force was helping me and had become an addiction. Then I suffered when I didn't have it.

Each of our bodies has an incredible inborn intelligence that enables us to adapt to the multitude of stressors that we inevitably encounter each day. Most of the time, our bodies readily engage in this "dance of life" without issue. It's when these stresses become chronic and over-bearing that our bodies resort to adaptations that grab our attention (i.e. they produce symptoms). Often these adaptations are a requirement for vital, bodily functioning to continue - even if it means the adaptation is not ideal for the long-term health of the body.

Memorial Sloan Kettering scientists and doctors firmly believe we're on the cusp of a brighter era in cancer care and research. Although the history of attempts to understand and control cancer is littered with disappointments...

In addition to drugs such as ipilimumab and nivolumab, MSK researchers are developing another immunotherapy strategy in which a patient's own T cells are manipulated to more readily attack cancer cells. In this treatment, called chimeric antigen receptor therapy, or CAR therapy, T cells are collected from a patient's blood, genetically engineered to recognize certain proteins on cancer cells, and infused back into the patient's bloodstream.
