This is National Correct Posture Month. The American Chiropractic Association, wishes "to broaden public awareness of the importance of correct posture as an integral part of everyday health care."

I tried sitting up straight when all those teachers told me to, but it never took. I've since pretty much resigned myself to slouching through life, shoulders relaxed, head down.

The CDC whistleblower story is exploding, and despite the best efforts of the mainstream media to maintain a total media blackout on the story, the truth is spreading like wildfire across the internet and social media.

The essence of the story is that CDC scientist William Thompson has admitted to committing scientific fraud over the last ten years in conjunction with other CDC scientists. They retroactively altered study data to hide the proven fact that MMR vaccines cause a huge increase in autism risk in African-American children, and the CDC's top criminal, Dr. Julie Gerberding, orchestrated the entire fraud.

Getting treated by a chiropractor and taking light exercise may be the best way to relieve neck pain, according to new research.

The support group Arthritis Ireland says the findings underline the fact that arthritis and muscular pain require more than just a drug-treatment approach. Researchers found that this type of non-medical treatment results in better outcomes than common pain relief drugs such as aspirin and ibuprofen.

Bananas contain three natural sugars - sucrose, fructose and glucose combined with fiber. A banana gives an instant, sustained and substantial boost of energy.

Research has proven that just two bananas provide enough energy for a strenuous 90-minute workout. No wonder the banana is the number one fruit with the world's leading athletes. But energy isn't the only way a banana can help us keep fit. It can also help overcome or prevent a substantial number of illnesses and conditions, making it a must to add to our daily diet.

My husband used to be really skeptical of natural therapies like essential oils, until we had to try them for our little ones. He was trained up relying on modern medicine and innovation as the "best way" to take care of just about anything.

However, with a lot of in-home experiments, and a lot of studying the natural, organic compounds and phytochemicals (plant chemicals) that are produced naturally, he has had quite a "turn-around" and has begun to realize the benefits of natural essential oils and remedies, in addition to their diminished or lack of toxic build up and side effects we can get from man made pharmaceuticals. He also made the connection that many pharmaceuticals are derived and manipulated from naturally occurring (often harmless) compounds and the only way major pharmaceutical companies can patent them is to alter them in a lab in order to claim limited proprietary rights to market them. Lavender could be perhaps one of the most versatile herbs and essential oils in the world.

The new proposed CDC regulations are contained in the Federal Register dated August 15, 2016, under the heading, "Control of Communicable Diseases-Notice of Proposed Rulemaking."
