Himalayan Salt Lamp Benefits + Real vs. Fake Salt Lamps
by Its Inherent Nature
January 12, 2017
If you buy a true Himalayan salt lamp and use it regularly, you may just notice easier breathing, a calmer demeanor and better sleep in your near future.
What on Earth is a Himalayan salt lamp? Himalayan sea salt is believed to be composed of dried remnants of the original, primal sea dating back to planet Earth's creation. I've talked before about the health benefits of Celtic sea salt and Himalayan salt , but what if I told you that there are actually lamps made from Himalayan salt? It's true! They're called salt lamps or salt rock lamps, and yes, they're actually made from pink Himalayan salt and are able to light your surroundings - but they're really not bought for their moderate lighting abilities.
Home Birth Safer Than Hospital Birth: Nation-Wide Study Netherlands
by Heidi Stevenson
June 26, 2013
Yet another study, this one consisting of every birth in The Netherlands over two years, demonstrates that home births are safer than hospital births. Women are more than twice as lifely to end up in intensive care if they give birth in a hospital!
In The Netherlands, the majority of births occur at home, not in hospitals. A study reported in theBMJ found that women whose pregnancies were low-risk suffered far fewer severe negative outcomes from home than hospital births, especially after the first pregnancy. The study, published 13 June 2013, focused on two serious adverse events: postpartum hemorrhage and manual removal of the placenta, both of which are life-threatening, and also included admission to intensive care, eclampsia, and more than four packed cells in a blood transfusion.

I am part of a new growing field in alternative medicine in this country called Vibrational Medicine. We follow the new science that is proven and valid but that has unfortunately not become mainstream yet.
The bottom line is we are getting results where medicine is failing. And we are doing it using methods that are completely safe, painless and drug free! The therapy I am using is called Neurological Stress Reduction Therapy and I am using a device called The Bax 3000.
How a Corrupt Dietitians' Group Has Taken Over Nutrition Advice in America
August 10, 2012
The Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics is engaged in a turf war over the right to give nutritional advice -- and sell it to the highest bidder.
When Steve Cooksey was diagnosed with Type 2 diabetes, a registered dietician advised him to eat a low-fat, high-carbohydrate diet. Rather than follow that advice blindly, Cooksey read the available scientific literature and decided to do roughly the opposite of what he'd been advised. He proceeded to lose 78 pounds on a high-fat, low-carb diet that was nearly absent of processed foods. Cooksey's blood-sugar level dropped into the normal range, and he was cleared by his doctor to stop taking insulin. Three years later, Cooksey remains slim and healthy, but now finds himself with a different sort of diet problem, thanks to a letter he received from the North Carolina Board of Dietetics/Nutrition. It accused him of practicing nutrition counseling without a license, and threatened to charge him with crimes that could result in jail time if he refused to make changes to his blog, diabetes-warrior.net.
How I Healed My Failing Liver Naturally
by Jeff Roberts
July 22, 2017
What first started as a headache, fever, and body aches, quickly escalated into an excruciating migraine, debilitating muscle stiffness, and an overwhelming sense of nausea.
I was hit with what I thought was a nasty case of the seasonal flu, and it sucked. But I powered through, drinking my liquids and following the natural recommended flu-protocol, knowing that it would all be over within a few days. My prognosis proved wrong, however. Over a week into my sickness I still couldn't eat, and I was dropping weight like a Jenny Craig story gone right. The only word I could use to describe the feeling in my stomach was "gross." My usually clear skin had broken out, and my urine and stool were also starting to look "off" to say the least, which caused some serious concern.
How important is it that we tell people about Chiropractic?
by Sharon Gorman, DC
August 15, 2006
How important is it that we tell people about Chiropractic? How much urgency do you have about sharing it with others? Most of us have seen the benefit to us in more than just the removal of symptoms.
To most of us Chiropractic has become a way of life. The principles have become a set of principles that we have grown to live with and we allow to guide our lives. When we have a symptom we don't look outside of ourselves for an answer, we look for the cause. We have a certain respect for our bodies and for the intelligence that resides in it. We are pro-active in assuring our good health by including regular adjustments as a way to make sure that our nervous symptom is working the best that it can.
How Improved Ergonomics Can Help You Make More Money
by Tom Ewer
October 23, 2012
A couple of weeks ago I published a post on how to stay healthy and productive at your computer.
The article's headline was very deliberately worded, because although we would all like to be healthier, it often isn't as much of a priority as it should be. On the other hand, most of us will jump at the chance to improve our productivity. Well, today I'm back for more. This time around I want to teach you about the surprising history behind ergonomics, how it can help you make more money, and what you need to know about setting up your very own ergonomic workstation.
How To Clean Your Home Using Essential Oils
April 18, 2016
Did you know that the average American home is filled with thousands of artificial chemicals? Only a small percentage of these chemicals have been thoroughly tested for safety! It's crazy considering how often we're exposed to these chemicals.
Of those that have been studied, at least 150 common household chemicals have been associated with cancer, psychological disturbances, allergies, gastrointestinal disorders and various health issues. Shocking right?! Cleaning agents contribute a substantial amount to the toxic chemical load in our home. Many top brand cleaners are filled with known toxins such as solvents, ammonia, formaldehyde, phthalates and ethanolamine.
