Walk into a chiropractor's office and you will see necks, backs and ankles being cracked - and, increasingly, some of them will belong to children.

With the demand for complementary and alternative treatment increasing, more people are considering the use of chiropractic care for children and newborns. In fact, it is the most common type of complementary and alternative care for children, according to a study done by the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association in 2010. The study showed an estimated 86 million pediatric visits were made to chiropractors throughout the United States, Canada and Europe in 2007, the most recent data available.

Some case reports suggest sexual activity during a migraine or cluster headache may relieve the pain in at least some patients, researchers in Germany say.

"We asked for experience with sexual activity during a headache attack and its impact on headache intensity," the researchers wrote in the study. "The survey was strictly and completely anonymous." Thirty-eight percent of the migraine patients and 48 percent of the patients with cluster headache responded.

With the exception of asparagus, rhubarb and artichokes, most gardeners are unaware of the tasty, nutritious bounty that perennial vegetables can offer.

According to Perennial Vegetables by Eric Toensmeier, most North American gardening and farming traditions come from Europe, where there are very few perennial crops except fruits and nuts. Cold and temperate Eurasian agriculture centered around livestock, annual grains and legumes, and early European settlers to North America simply brought their seeds and their cultivation methods with them, including draft animals for plowing up the soil every year.

Wrestler Hulk Hogan has filed a lawsuit against the Tampa-based Laser Spine Institute, saying the clinic did unnecessary surgeries that damaged his career.

The Tampa Bay Times reports that Hogan filed the lawsuit Monday. He filed under his real name, which is Terry Bollea. It seeks damages of $50 million. In addition to claiming unnecessary surgeries, the lawsuit also says the Laser Spine Institute used an endorsement from Hogan without permission or payment.
