What type of neck pain should I worry about?
by Katie StumbocloseAuthor: Katie Stumbo Name: Katie Stumbo
January 10, 2009
Neck pain has been burdening the human race for centuries. It can vary from occasional discomfort to chronic and severe pain and despite the commonality of it; little progress has been made in pin-pointing the exact causes and remedies.
Even today, it can be extremely tricky to diagnose and even harder to get rid of. The primary problem with neck pain is misdiagnosis. If you do visit a doctor you will likely be pigeon-holed into another case of "chronic neck pain," a very broad and not easily remedied diagnosis.
14 Reasons To Take Oregano Oil: Benefits
December 5, 2016
Have you already heard about the traditional oregano spice for Mediterranean diet? The Latin name of the plant, dried leaves of which Italians willingly add to your pizza - is «Origanum majorana». Strictly speaking, this is wild oregano.
But today we will focus on other species of the family Lamiaceae. Meet oregano (lat. «Origanum vulgare»), - the oil of this plant. It has amazing beneficial properties, some of which was known centuries ago. The ancient Greeks, for example, called oregano as "The pleasure of the mountain" and used it for the treatment of infectious diseases. Oregano oil kills bacteria, fungal and yeast infections, expels parasites from the body and fights viruses.
5G Radiation Dangers - 11 Reasons To Be Concerned
by Lloyd Burrell
June 3, 2018
5G offers mind-blowing data capabilities, practically unrestricted call volumes and near infinite data broadcast. It does this by 5G using largely untapped bandwidth of the millimeter wave (MMW), which is between 30GHz and 300GHz, as well as some lower an
The biggest concern is how these new wavelengths will affect the skin. The human body has between two million to four million sweat ducts. Dr. Ben-Ishai of Hebrew University, Israel explains that our sweat ducts act like "an array of helical antennas when exposed to these wavelengths," meaning that we become more conductive. A recent New York study which experimented with 60GHz waves stated that "the analyses of penetration depth show that more than 90% of the transmitted power is absorbed in the epidermis and dermis layer."

Carpal Tunnel Syndrome (CTS) and its related disorders is a leading cause of disability amongst San Francisco office workers. With the way people are glued to the computer all day and to their smart phones...it's no wonder everyone does not have CTS.

Antidepressant Microbes In Soil: How Dirt Makes You Happy
by Bonnie L. Grant
August 25, 2014
Prozac may not be the only way to get rid of your serious blues. Soil microbes have been found to have similar effects on the brain and are without side effects and chemical dependency potentials.
Natural remedies have been around for untold centuries. These natural remedies included cures for almost any physical ailment as well as mental and emotional afflictions. Ancient healers may not have known why something worked but simply that it did. Modern scientists have unraveled the why of many medicinal plants and practices but only recently are they finding remedies that were previously unknown and, yet, still a part of the natural life cycle. Soil microbes and human health now have a positive link which has been studied and found to be verifiable.
The Best Blueberry Lemon Bread You've Ever Tasted. (And it's Paleo!)
October 28, 2015
Before all of the blueberries disappear, I had to get one more summer dessert in. Take a look at this beautiful Paleo Blueberry Lemon Bread. It's loaded with protein-rich almond flour, nutrient-dense eggs, and oh-so-good-for-you coconut oil.
I'm a creature of habit, and the small rituals of life make me happy. Every Sunday morning I wake up, eat breakfast, and head to my local Farmer's Market. The first place we go is the gluten free bakery booth for Pao de Queijo (or Brazilian cheese bread.) My little one gets one plain and one olive. She eats the plain one right away. If you haven't tried these chewy little breads made with tapioca flour, you are seriously missing out. (Hmmm, I feel a new recipe post coming on!)
A better approach to beating chronic fatigue
by Dr. Isaac Eliaz
February 9, 2016
While researchers and standard doctors try to understand how to treat chronic fatigue with drugs, the integrative medical community has made a ton of progress in helping patients regain their energy and quality of life naturally.

Other symptoms and signs can include but are not limited to muscle pain, muscle weakness, mild fever, recurrent sore throat, painful lymph nodes, headaches, joint pain, sleep disturbance, depression, digestive disorders such as IBS and neurological dysfunction. Typically these symptoms are ongoing and progress over months and even years, however, some individuals experience sudden onset of multiple symptoms as well.
Chiropractic Treatment of a Medical Specialist for Headaches
by Nancy Martin-Molina
July 4, 2014
It has been documented in a variety of studies that general health and habit factors may perpetuate the presence of myofascial / soft-tissue patterns of pain.
These include nutritional, metabolic, endocrine and psychological influences; but often some of the worst offenders are contributors such as sustained postural demands and poor body mechanism. Thus one goal of chiropractic treatment has been to increase movement in the joints and relax the pain-producing contributory muscles.
