The Real Reason Wheat is Toxic (it's not the gluten)
November 16, 2015
The stories became far too frequent to ignore. Emails from folks with allergic or digestive issues to wheat in the United States experienced no symptoms whatsoever when they tried eating pasta on vacation in Italy.
Confused parents wondering why wheat consumption sometimes triggered autoimmune reactions in their children but not at other times. In my own home, I've long pondered why my husband can eat the wheat I prepare at home, but he experiences negative digestive effects eating even a single roll in a restaurant.
Signs of Vitamin D Deficiency Most People Miss
October 22, 2015
With flu season upon us and serious new viruses like Enterovirus D68 making the rounds, keeping blood levels of vitamin D at optimal levels can be truly lifesaving especially for children and the elderly.
Flu is actually vitamin D deficiency disease, not a happenstance occurrence in your life because you didn't get a flu shot or sat next to a coughing person on the train to work. Dr. John Cannell of the Vitamin D Council and one of the most preeminent Vitamin D researchers in the world today, has identified that vitamin D helps produce the antimicrobial peptides that protect against the flu. This is why people are more prone to the flu in winter when Vitamin D producing sunshine is minimal or nonexistent at some latitudes.
'Raw' Cheese from the store is Not Raw!
September 22, 2015
In yet another case of labeling tricks and deception where store bought food is concerned, cheese produced in the United States and labeled as "raw" at the healthfood store and specialty shops is anything but.
Organic Valley, the corporate behemoth that has gone to the Dark Side where raw, fresh, organic, health giving grassfed milk is concerned is not surprisingly the worst offender of this loophole in the USDA regulations.
Nurture the Nervous System, Nourish the Baby
by Sarah Clark
August 29, 2017
We all know the benefits of breastfeeding for a newborn, but we also must not underestimate the joy and emotional well-being that follow when a mother is able to feed her infant as planned and find empowerment through her own natural ability.
Yet far too many women suffer from unexplained pain, latch problems and even infection when they attempt to breastfeed, one of the most natural things in the world. This overwhelming pain and trouble when a woman is at her most sensitive can cause the early cessation of the nursing relationship and considerable emotional turmoil. This not only results in disappointment for the mom, but also an infant who misses out on the very best in early nutrition.
Lawsuit Filed to Halt Swine Flu Vaccine Distribution

October 13, 2009
With the U.S. Food and Drug Administration to begin nationwide delivery of swine flu vaccine to 90,000 locations, attorney James Turner filed a complaint in federal court in the District of Columbia for a Temporary Restraining Order.
The suit challenges the Sept. 15 licensing of four swine flu vaccines, alleging that the FDA violated the law in its hurried approval by failing to determine the safety and efficacy of the vaccines as required by law since 1964. Turner told NewsWithViews that none of the procedures that should have been done, and that make up a formal administrative record, had been done.
Junk! Organic! Fair Trade! Have You Noticed The Food Fight's Heating Up?
by Sascha Garrey
July 2, 2013
Food used to be a simple pleasure. But lately, it seems there are a million things to worry about when it comes to food. Even buying a plain-old bunch of carrots can induce anxiety: Are they local? Are they organic? How much vitamin A do I need anyway?
And then there's the "personal is political" stance taking over many modern American kitchens. These are the raw-whole-natural-organic-local-fair-trade types who oppose the mainstream industrialization of food and food distribution. One example: the recent viral post published by BuzzFeed that lists some of the alarming health horrors linked to chemicals in everyday favorites like Froot Loops and milk.
Singapore Chiropractor, Aras Chiropractic, Provides Natural Solutions for Back Pain
Aras Chiropractic and Dr. Aras Ignatavicius D. C., are pleased to announce that locals can obtain back pain relief by utilizing the techniques and methods offered by the Singapore chiropractor under the guidelines of chiropractic medicine.
The methods are non-invasive and are all-natural. No pharmaceuticals are suggested or prescribed to patients pursuing this course of therapy. A therapeutic plan may include a number of techniques, some applied by the doctor and some that are the responsibility of the patient. The initial step when there is a subluxation is to provide a manual or mechanical adjustment to the spinal column. This allows the discs to move back into the optimum position. Pain is relieved and the body is able to begin a self healing process.
You Think Beauty Is Skin Deep? You're Not A Chiropractor
by Scott Hensley
August 2, 2012
For a time, posture contests were all the rage. They gave chiropractors a public relations boost when the profession was fighting for respect. The pageants helped build goodwill and support for licensure, a chiropractic historian says.
Hug says the contests date to the 1920s, but they became the rage during the '50s and '60s. Contestants were typically judged on beauty and poise, posture, and X-rays to evaluate their spinal structure. "In those days, nobody was concerned about radiation," Hug says.
Chiropractic evaluation useful tool for athletes

For whatever reason, young athletes today are more focused and driven than ever before. As a result, some of our youth are involved in competition or training 365 days a year.
A young athlete's body can wrack up quite a bit of banging around and trauma. What might be written off as "growing pains" may well be accumulated trauma to the joints and spine.
Emotional Release with Essential Oils
by Sequoia Warner
November 9, 2015
I love to sit by a lake, river, in the woods, anywhere outdoors in the evening after work. I take a bag of essential oils, and tap on my body's natural comfort points using Emotional Freedom Technique (EFT).
The acupressure points of the feet also are great places to apply the oils. It takes only moments to release the stress of the work day. Then I work on releasing old patterns, hurts, stress to body, mind or spirit. Once that is done I move on to envisioning the future I wish to attract. If you ever have one of those days where you wake up on the wrong side of the bed, take a few moments with these six oils. Apply on top of your head, over your heart, and to the bottoms of your feet. Your energy will shift quickly. Remember to work with intention, rubbing the oils clockwise in your hands before application.
